Connie and Allen Ratz

Allen and Connie Ratz of Hubbard Lake celebrated their 50th anniversary on July 28 with a renewal of marriage vows at Ossineke Beach, officiated by Pastor Robert Nystrom from First United Methodist Church in Alpena.

Allen Ratz and Connie Newhouse were married on July 28, 1973 at First United Methodist Church in Alpena.

The couple has three children: Scott (Cindy) Ratz of Alpena, Timothy (Tina) Ratz of Spruce, and Rebecca (Robert) Lee of Plain City, Ohio. They have four grandchildren: Josie Ratz, Justin Ratz, Emmaline Lee, and Bennett Lee.
