Wes and Eleanore Smith of Hillman celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary on April 25, followed by a party on April 27 at the Green Township Hall in Lachine.

All four children were present for the celebration, along with many of their grandchildren and great-grandchildren. They also were blessed by many relatives and friends in attendance.

The Smiths were married by the late Rev. William Jones at the Hillman Baptist Parsonage.
