ALPENA — As the new school year approaches, the Water Wonderland Board of Realtors (WWBR) proudly continued its commitment to community support through its annual Backpack Fill Program. In partnership with the Boys and Girls Club of Alpena, WWBR successfully delivered 104 backpacks filled with school supplies and snacks to local children, helping ensure they start the year with confidence and the tools they need to succeed.
This year’s effort marks an increase from last year’s donation, reflecting the growing dedication of WWBR members and affiliated offices across the region. Each backpack was
thoughtfully packed to ease the financial burden on families and bring joy to students preparing for the classroom.
“We’re incredibly proud of our members and partners who came together to make this
initiative a success,” said Jeannie Rizzardi, Executive Director of WWBR. “Seeing the
excitement on the children’s faces as they open their backpacks is a powerful reminder of the impact we can make when we work together.”
WWBR extends its deepest gratitude to the following offices for their generous contributions: Exit Realty Premier, Mackinac Properties, Exit Waterways, Coldwell Banker
Schmidt Cheboygan, Coldwell Banker Schmidt Gaylord, Alpine Realty, Lighthouse Title, Real Estate One Lewiston, Northern Michigan Appraisal, Real Estate One Front Gaylord, Evergreen Realty, Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Gaylord, Alpine Title, Nicolet Bank, Banner Realty, Re/Max New Horizons, Real Estate One of Alpena, Heritage House Realty, Higher Elevation, Forty Five North Realty, United Country Great Lakes Realty, Century 21
