ALPENA — True North Radio Network’s Summer Concert Series at Alpena’s Bay View Park Bandshell features seven concerts this summer beginning Saturday, with Magic Bus, a throwback to the Woodstock era of music.

The free concerts are held from 6 to 9 p.m. on select Saturdays, and from 7 to 10 p.m. on Monday, July 4.

There will be giveaways, Nowicki’s concessions, and great entertainment. All concerts are free. Bring your own lawn chair or blanket.

¯ Persuasion Band from Detroit on June 18.

¯ The Rock Show with Tommy K on July 4.

¯ Rod Stewart Tribute on July 9.

¯ Totally 80s Tribute band on July 30.

¯ The Avalons Music and Fun on Aug. 6.
