Stella (Zyracki) Smigelski, 102, and Sophie Zyracki, 100

POSEN — Sisters Sophie Zyracki and Stella (Zyracki) Smigelski turned 100 and 102, respectively, in August.

Stella was born in Detroit on Aug. 8, 1919.

Sophie was born in Posen on Aug. 15, 1921.

They live together on the family farm in Posen, with their cat, Pizza.

Folks in Posen say they are very happy and neighborly ladies.

Watch for them in the Posen Potato Festival Parade next weekend.
