Coffee and Cars downtown next two Saturdays in Alpena

ALPENA — Calling all classic car connoisseurs. Come to Downtown Alpena the last two Saturdays of July for Coffee and Cars from 8 to 11 a.m. this Saturday and July 25.

Coffee and Cars is a casual event for those who own classic or vintage cars and want to get out and enjoy downtown with others who share their interests in a safe, socially distanced way. Members of the community are invited to come downtown to see the cars, grab a cup of coffee, and enjoy all Downtown Alpena has to offer.

To participate as a car collector, drive your classic or collectible car downtown and park anywhere within the district. A parking map can be found on Downtown Alpena’s website: https://www.downtownalpenami.com/parking.html.

This event is free and open to the public, sponsored by the Alpena Downtown Development Authority.

Participants are encouraged to grab a cup of coffee from downtown businesses Cabin Creek Coffee or Biggby Coffee while checking out participating cars.

As a reminder, customers must wear a mask when inside downtown businesses and must continue to abide by social distancing guidelines, keeping at minimum six feet of distance between them and othersoutside of their immediate household.
