Amanda Grochowski of Alpena and Nathan Timm of Hillman announce their engagement.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of Daniel and Karen Grochowski of Alpena. The future groom is the son of Dale and Sandra Timm of Hillman.

Amanda is a 2009 graduate of Alpena High School and a 2013 graduate of Northwood University. She is currently employed at Alpena Regional Medical Center as a benefits specialist in human resources.

Nathan is a 2003 graduate of Hillman High School and is currently employed at Decorative Panels International of Alpena.

The couple will exchange their wedding vows Aug. 23, 2014 at St. Catherine’s Church in Ossineke.
