Marion E. Lamy, of Alpena and Harbor Springs, went to heaven on Nov. 8 2022. Marion was born on Aug. 9, 1927, the daughter of Raymond and Ellen Barr (Johnson). She was a devout Christian, loving wife and mother, and a friend to all the people she met in her life. Marion met the love of her life, James C. Kathleen A. ‘Cassie’ Miller, 82, of Barton City, passed away Tuesday, Nov. 8, 2022, at her home. Born Oct. 30, 1940, to Raymond and Margaret (Sabo) Brown in Roseville, Michigan she was raised there. She enjoyed family vacations to Barton City as a child. Cassie worked in the Insurance industry and owned and operated a laundromat before retiring to the area in 2001.
