Marion E. Lamy, of Alpena and Harbor Springs, went to heaven on Nov. 8 2022. Marion was born on Aug. 9, 1927, the daughter of Raymond and Ellen Barr (Johnson). She was a devout Christian, loving wife and mother, and a friend to all the people she met in her life. Marion met the love of her life, James C. Lamy, in Roscommon, Michigan in 1949 and were married June 17, 1950. They shared a passion for the outdoors, camping, canoeing, and hiking together during their courtship and on their honeymoon. Kathleen A. ‘Cassie’ Miller, 82, of Barton City, passed away Tuesday, Nov. 8, 2022, at her home. Born Oct. 30, 1940, to Raymond and Margaret (Sabo) Brown in Roseville, Michigan she was raised there. She enjoyed family vacations to Barton City as a child. Cassie worked in the Insurance industry and owned and operated a laundromat before retiring to the area in 2001. ADAMS, Timothy, 60, of Alpena, died Nov. 7, 2022. Tim has been taken for cremation with no services planned at this time. McWilliams Funeral Home has assisted the family.
