Janet Maxine Hopkins, 76, of Ossineke passed away Thursday, Nov. 10, 2022, at her home. Janet Maxine Hayes was born in Owosso on Oct. 12, 1946, to the late LeRoy and Maxine (Rupp) Hayes and married Jon Hopkins on Aug. 17, 1968. She taught at Thunder Bay Junior High School and later Alpena High School, retiring in 1996. She was a member of the Alpena Garden Club, Tip-O’ The Mitt Miata Club, enjoyed knitting, needle point, gardening, and playing golf. Dr. Charles T. Egli, 85, from Mars, Pennsylvania had his first day in heaven on Nov. 7, 2022. Affectionately known as ‘Biggie’, his life was lived fully and completely with Christ being the center of his being along with his adored wife, Beverly Erickson Egli, whom he cherished for almost 60 years. KASUBOWSKI, Mae, 92, of Maple Ridge Twp., died peacefully at home Nov. 11, 2022. Mae is survived by her sons, David (Cathy) Egenriether, and Douglas (Carol), nine grandchildren, several great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. Family will receive friends on Friday, Nov. 18, 2022, from 10 a.m. until the time of the memorial service at 11 a.m. at McWilliams Funeral Home. Inurnment will follow at Pilgrims Rest Cemetery.
