Evelyn Rozelle (Kummeth) Sefton made her heavenly journey on May 16, 2023. She was born on November 4, 1936 in Britton, South Dakota to George and Sabina Kummeth. Growing up in Minnesota, she graduated from Owatonna High School in 1954. She then earned her nursing degree in 1958 from St. Joseph Mercy School of Nursing in Mason City, Iowa. Mr. James “Jim” Lee Shepherd, 83 of Lachine, Michigan died peacefully surrounded by the love of his family at his home on the early morning of May 17, 2023. He was welcomed into Heaven with open arms after a long wait from his wife, Evelyn and son, Donnie. Jim was born in Hillman, Michigan on Feb. 5, 1940 to the late Fred and Alice (James) Shepherd. He was born July 8, 1932 in Lansing to Roy and Genevie (Binger) Klotz. Roy and Shirley moved their family of five children to Hillman from Pinckney in 1971.
