Angeline Rita Zbytowski, 77, of Alpena passed away peacefully on Sunday, June 11, 2023, at MediLodge of Alpena. Angeline Rita Chrzan was born July 3, 1945, in Alpena to the late Florian and Julia (Kozdron) Chrzan. She worked as a nurse for many years. Angeline was a member of All Saints of Alpena and enjoyed crocheting and playing cards. DZIESINSKI, William, 66, of Alpena, died on Friday, June 9, 2023 at Mercy St. Vincent Medical Center, Toledo, Ohio. Family will receive friends for visitation at Karpus Hunter & Ross Funeral Home on Wednesday, June 14, 2023 from 3 p.m. until 7 p.m. Visitation will continue Thursday at St. Mary Catholic Church of All Saints Parish from 10 a.m. until the Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. with Fr. Patrick L. Hoppe, 87 passed away peacefully on Saturday, June 10, 2023, at Touch of Country Care Home. Patrick was born on Sept. 3, 1935, in Cathro, the fifth child of the late Florian and Josephine (Antowiak) Hoppe. As a child he attended a one room schoolhouse and later graduated from Alpena High School in 1955 and attended Alpena Community College. Pat served in the Air National Guard for three years. Irma Burzich, 93, of Alpena passed away Thursday, June 8, 2023, peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family. June 8 would have been her husband’s 98th birthday. Irma Zarske was born Jan. 28, 1930, in Herron, Michigan at home on the family farm to Pauline Pearl and Gustav Zarske. As a child she attended a one room schoolhouse and later attended and graduated from Alpena High School. Joan Sumerix (85), devoted wife, mother, and grandmother, passed away on Friday, June 9, 2023, at her home in Lachine. Joan was born April 5, 1938, to Alex and Connie (Lewis) MacArthur. She married her high school sweetheart, Ken Sumerix, on March 1, 1958. They celebrated their 65th wedding anniversary in March. Over the years, Joan worked for McLellan’s, Alpena Agency, and Maxson’s and BJ’s country stores.
