GERALD HENRY WEIS Feb. 6, 1948 - June 11, 2023 Gerald Henry Weis, known to friends and family as Jerry, passed away on June 11, 2023, in Sanborn Township, Michigan. Born on Feb. 6, 1948, in Detroit, Michigan, Jerry was the son of the late Henry and Elise (Werner) Weis. Jerry is survived by his loving wife, Dorothy; his two children, Henry (Shelly) Weis of Holly, Michigan, and Maxwell (Patty) Weis of Clearwater, Florida; his sister, Dolores Weis of Indianapolis, Indiana; eight grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. William F. Dziesinski, 66, of Alpena, passed away at Mercy Health – St. Vincent Medical Center in Toledo, Ohio, surrounded by his family after a sudden hemorrhagic stroke. Bill was born May 10, 1957 in Alpena to the late Stanley and Lois (Cain) Dziesinski. He married Phyllis Precord, Aug. 16, 1980 and have three wonderful children together. Bill worked for many years for J.E. Johnson Heating and Cooling as an HVAC Technician before working as a machinist for Magnaloy Coupling Company. Sally was born in Rogers City on Aug. 23, 1935 to the late Earl and Gisela Platz and was preceded in death by husband Bob Dumsch, and son Jeff Dumsch. Arlene Josie Frary, 91, of Alpena passed away Monday, June 12, 2023, at home. Arlene Josie Hanson was born Aug. 29, 1931, in Alpena to the late Harry and Sadie (Barager) Hanson. On Feb. 5, 1949, she married James Frary. He preceded her in death on April 16, 2009. Arlene enjoyed going to the casinos, Alpena Senior Citizens Center, gardening, and baking bread. She loved spending time with her grandchildren. Joseph Henry Veselenak, age 87, passed away peacefully at home on June 8, 2023 surrounded by family. He was born May 17, 1936 in Flint to Stephen and Anna (Andrejkovich) Veselenak. He attended Flint schools including Flint Northern High School where he played football and graduated in 1954.
