ARLENE JOSIE FRARY

Arlene Josie Hanson was born Aug. 29, 1931, in Alpena to the late Harry and Sadie (Barager) Hanson. On Feb. 5, 1949, she married James Frary. He preceded her in death on April 16, 2009. Arlene enjoyed going to the casinos, Alpena Senior Citizens Center, gardening, and baking bread. She loved spending time with her grandchildren.

Surviving are her three children, James Frary, Candee Donajkowski, Bernice (Brent) Schuelke; six grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; two brothers, Joe (Sandy) Hanson and Milton (Geri) Hanson.

Arlene was preceded in death by her two daughters, Jacqueline Frary, Arlene Frary; son-in-law, Joe Donajkowski; daughter-in-law, Laura Frary; grandson, Andrew Kamyszek; five siblings, Harry Hanson, Shirley Hanson, Edward Hanson, Bonnie Whitsell, and Beverly Jones.

Memorial visitation will take place Saturday at Bannan Funeral Home from noon until the memorial service at 3 p.m. with the Rev. Leslie Nye officiating.
