SAGINAW — The Woods Track Club continued to add State qualifiers during their past meet at Saginaw Valley State University.

Alec LeTourneau hit a career indoor best in the Pole Vault with a jump of 13-3 while Aden Smith ran a career best (4:33) in the 1600. Other qualifiers were Mara Krupinski (15-08) and Vydailya Letts (15-03) in the girls’ long jump.

“We brought about 35 runners to this meet and again proved we belonged with the best athletes in the state,” Woods coach Mark Jacobs said. “Not only are these kids very good athletes, they are all first-class young ladies and gentlemen. That’s what I’m most proud of.”

“We have one more regular season meet before out State meet. I believe we’ll get a few more athletes qualified,” Jacobs said.
