Hillman shut out by Whittemore-Prescott; Posen topples Pellston

WHITTEMORE – The Hillman football team saw its four game winning streak come to a rough ending on Friday as the Tigers were shut out 38-0 against Whittemore-Prescott.

“On offense we couldn’t get anything started and on defense we couldn’t stop anything,” Hillman coach Bill Koenig said. “It was definitely a wake up call heading into Week 9.”

The Tigers are now 4-4 overall and will host Inland Lakes in their regular season finale. Hillman will need to win in order to keep its playoff streak alive.
