The Alpena softball team also had several players honored for the 2016 season.

After winning a conference title for the fifth year in a row, four players were named to the first team-pitcher Lauren Heath, infielder Mary Schimmel, utility player Makayla Price and outfielder Jordan Modrzynski. First baseman Jessica Marwede was a second team all-conference selection and second baseman Jenna VanDusen earned an honorable mention.

The Wildcats also had several players named to the all-district and all-regional teams after reaching the district finals. Modrzynski, Marwede, VanDusen, Heath, Price and Schimmel all earned all-district honors and Modrzynski, Marwede, Heath and Price garnered all-regional honors.
