Alex Winfield has officially committed to continue both his academic and athletic career as a student-athlete on the Calvin College swimming team. His signing marks the beginning of an exciting new chapter as he prepares to compete at the collegiate level while pursuing his academic goals.

In recognition of his dedication and academic excellence, Alex has been awarded several distinguished scholarships, including the Faculty Award, Knight for Life Scholarship, Knights Scholar Award, and the Michigan Achievement Scholarship.

Alex celebrated this milestone by signing his commitment in the presence of Varsity Swim Team Head Coach Jennifer Johnson, along with the support of family and friends who proudly stood as witnesses to this memorable occasion.

Coach Jennifer Johnson praised Alex’s commitment and work ethic, offering words of encouragement as he begins his college journey.

Alex’s commitment reflects years of discipline, perseverance, and determination both in the classroom and in the pool. His accomplishments have earned the admiration of his coaches, teammates, family, and friends, all of whom look forward to watching him continue to excel as a Calvin Knight.
