Alpena baseball team unveils new scoreboard thanks to community support

ALPENA – The Alpena High School varsity baseball team proudly displayed its new scoreboard during a team photo at the field Friday afternoon, celebrating a significant upgrade made possible by local generosity.
Representatives from Wolverine State Credit Union, including COO Ruby Haske, VP of Lending Hilary Oliver, and Marketing Director Loren Jackson joined the team for the photo as the credit union donated the new scoreboard, while Omega Electric and Sign Shop provided the installation at no cost to the program.
Head Coach Eric MacKenzie expressed the team’s gratitude:
“Alpena High School Wildcat baseball would like to thank Wolverine State Credit Union for donating a new scoreboard to the baseball program. We would also like to thank Omega Electric and Sign Shop for its donation of the installation of the scoreboard.”
The new equipment enhances the fan experience and game-day operations for the Wildcats, reflecting strong community support for local high school athletics.
