Good sounds at the Reagan Day dinner

On Sept. 17, 2021, at the dinner held by the Presque Isle County Republican Party at the Belknap Township hall, nearly 100 fired-up Republicans shared their comments and concerns over how this country is being mismanaged by the current Biden administration and how best to improve it.

The theme was “America is too great for small dreams.” — Ronald Reagan

Some of the good sounds heard were from Bob Brietzke in his opening prayer, as well as the comments made by Presque Isle County Sheriff Joe Brewbaker. Their references to God and our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, as being conscious of our problems and needs, were good to hear.

If this is a reflection of the Republicans in our nation today, then I am glad to be a part of the conservative Republican Party. I believe that if we as a nation seek God’s wisdom from His Word, the Bible, we will be blessed by God and comforted as a nation.

God says in 2 Chronicles 7:14, “If My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face and turn from their wicked ways, I will hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and heal their land.”

Please pray for our nation!
