County Fair offering unique opportunity

The Alpena County Fair is offering a unique opportunity to help your business or organization grow.

To help Alpena recover from the cancellation of events and activities since the start of the pandemic, we are reserving space in our Merchant’s Building to highlight what you have to offer our community.

The Alpena County Fair will run from August 15-21, with the carnival opening on Tuesday, Aug. 17. Each day of the fair, we will feature a different segment of our community. Wednesday is Senior Citizens’ Day, Friday is Military Appreciation Day, and Saturday is Kid’s Day and Teen Night. You may want to be there each day– or just one– depending on your group or business.

Let’s face it: COVID-19 has ravaged some of our local organizations and businesses. This is an opportunity to get your name out there in the larger community. By highlighting what you have to offer, prospective clients can learn about you in a one-stop shopping experience.

This opportunity is open to any community group or business. However, this is not for vendors who want to sell something. This is more of a community service to both Alpena and Northern Michigan.

I sincerely hope that you will consider this for your team, business, or group. It could be a wonderful way to jump start new connections. Please feel free to share this letter with others so that everyone may learn of this opportunity.

If you have any questions, please contact Lynn Borke at 989-464-0693.
