One person really can make a big difference

One person can make a difference, FDR was elected for four terms and took us from poverty to win WWII and George C. Marshall built up our military and factories, from zero. After the war, G. Mennon Williams was the only Democrat elected and he built the Mackinac Bridge and served six terms as Governor. Phil Hart and Carl Levin served in the U.S. Senate for many years and did a good job. Now you have been editor for many years and will step down soon. The paper has been in very good hands and your service makes it ready to carry on, you will be missed. One person we have now is Amanda Gorman who recited her poem at the inauguration. She was outstanding and will long be remembered for her poise and eloquence.
