As a lifelong Republican, I was deeply upset to find out that Judge Ed Black was the handpicked choice of Gov. Gretchen Whitmer.

Like every conservative voter in this election, I am deeply concerned about the poor judgement of the governor. Her decisions have been overruled by the Michigan Supreme Court and their impact has been to steal our freedom and our ability to feed our families. Her decisions don’t respect or represent the will of voters in northern Michigan. Should we believe that her choice for our judge is any better than the rest of her dreadful decisions?

I reject her judgement and her appointed choice for our judge. I’m voting for Joel Bauer for 26th Circuit Judge. I want a person who I know represents this community, not one forced upon us by Gov. Whitmer.
