A couple of weeks ago I saw a headline in this paper that made my head swim. The article was from the Associated Press so not sure if this newspaper kept the same headline. Because of political correctness I will say the headline was about a father and son shooting a young man. Talk about race baiting! Correct me if I’m wrong but isn’t political correctness supposed to make us more tolerant? Now we have a case where a young man was on video beating an elderly man. Do we expect to see color used in this headline? Don’t hold your breath. I know all about racism, having been accused of it while trying to repeat facts previously reported by several newspapers.

Not all the letters to the editor get published, I’ll be surprised if this one does!
