Respect respectable dining, dress right way

We ate at Rosa’s on Friday evening, with its new and surprisingly ambitious menu and cloth napkins and wine specials. We enjoy dining at Rosa’s and appreciate the seriousness with which all involved take their job of providing what passes for a fine dining experience in this area.

Alas, the same cannot be said for some of the patrons. Shorts and t shirts. Men wearing hats in the dining room.

It’s not McDonald’s. Rosa’s respects you as a patron, and you should return the sentiment. Dress appropriately. I’m not suggesting a jacket rule for men, but, for crying out loud, is it too much to ask for pants and shirts that button?

And take off your hat. Pretend you’re an adult, if only for the hour or so you’re at the restaurant.
