My wife, Stefanie, and I had the wonderful opportunity to listen to Joe Grimm, the author of “The Faygo Book,” tell his story of the origin of that beloved Michigan pop, Faygo. It was presented by the Presque Isle District Library System with support from the 2019 Michigan Notable Books program and held at the Rogers City Theater. Grimm is the Library of Michigan’s 2019 Notable Author who spun an enthralling story of a pop, a people, and a place — Detroit. His favorite flavor is — you guessed it — Rock & Rye!
