Church, business helped local stars shine

Challenging weather conditions did not stop “Night to Shine” prom in Gaylord from throwing down the red carpet.

“Night to Shine” prom is sponsored by Tim Tebow Foundation, honoring those with special needs, and was hosted by E-Free Church in Gaylord. Nine of our special people walked the red carpet looking glamorous and had their moment to shine with the help of Glitz and Glamor Bridal and Gifts of Alpena.

Not only did Glitz and Glamor lend their assistance with their tuxes and dresses, they made it all available at an affordable price, including donations. With their help, our special, bright lights were able to shine more brightly, and we want to acknowledge how fortunate we are to have businesses like Glitz and Glamor in our community.

It was a remarkable night and E-Free Church went all out with dazzling generosity, graciousness and suppport, making it an unforgettable, stand-out night for all our stars.

In a crowd of more than 300 from northern Michigan, Alpena was represented by more than 60 people, including our special needs clientele from Assisting Services. It was an extraordinarily memorable night, thanks to all who made it possible!
