I want to express my appreciation for the Long Lake Association — President Tom Ludwig and members Kurt Pratel, Bob and Kathy Garant, Steve Roznowski, Faye and Jack Walker, Doc Woolman, Jim Starks, Roger Liedke, Karen Morey and Howard Welsh — for their active involvement in various Long Lake Association projects. From cormorant control (unfortunately now ceased due to legal filings); stocking of the lake with walleyes, construction and placement of numerous fish shelters; fundraising and support for the annual fireworks display; organizing a very successful fishing contest for both adults and youths; dam control and maintenance; river cleanup and beaver dams removal. Much time and effort has been given by these individuals for these worthy projects. Job well done.
