Valentine’s Day will not be your usual chocolate and/roses sweetie day. Nope.

The NFL will be hosting Super Bowl LXI that day at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, California.

Personally, I think that Michiganders will be glued to the TV that day because this IS finally the year that the Detroit Lions will be playing in the NFL’s most coveted event.

Looking at the talent level, the schedule, and the head coach, the Detroit Lions have the makings of a championship football team this year. So, the prediction here is heading into their bye week, the Lions should be 4-1 and after the Thanksgiving Day game they should be 10-1. In my opinion, it looks like they will finish the regular season with a record of 14-3 and head into the playoffs as the NFC #1 seed.

As the #1 seed, they will dominate the NFC playoff format and probably be the favorite in Super Bowl LXI. So good luck to the Lions this year and a word to Michigan florists, be prepared with lots of Detroit Lions bouquets as they will be quite popular this coming Valentines Day.
