Harriet Alvina Scheller, 99, of Hillman passed away Sunday, Jan. 15, 2023, at Hillman Haven. Harriet Alvina Bahling was born April 27, 1923, in Wellington Township to the late William and Hattie (Kirchoff) Bahling. On Aug. 25, 1951, she married Henry Ford Scheller. He preceded her in death on Oct. 17, 2003. Harriet served in the United States Army during World War II as a WAC. She worked at Alpena Public Schools as a teacher for 38 years and enjoyed wintering in Florida for 19 years. Jenny is survived by her son Noah James Crawford, mother, Sandra and stepfather Paul Scott, sister, Jody Prieur (Dawn Wykoff), brother, Cory (Penny Smeltzer), she also left behind her loving partner Jason Sheldon. Elaine Frances Bluck, 81, of Alpena passed away suddenly Friday, January 13, 2023, at MyMichigan Medical Center Alpena. Elaine Frances Kania was born to the late Philip and Helen (Streasick) Kania and later raised by Clyde Yates. Elaine served in the United States Navy and married Maurice Cassidy on May 7, 1960. He preceded her in death June 28, 1961. On June 6, 1964, she married Frederick Bluck. He preceded her in death on February 12, 2016. She worked as a seamstress and was a member of All Saints Parish. He is survived by his seven children Megan Wilburn, Kyle, Timothy, Cody, and Logan Brown, Aurora and Tilly Brannigan, his grandchildren Alexander and Rosalie Brown, and his siblings Brenda and Daniel Brown.
