ELAINE FRANCES BLUCK

Elaine Frances Kania was born to the late Philip and Helen (Streasick) Kania and later raised by Clyde Yates. Elaine served in the United States Navy and married Maurice Cassidy on May 7, 1960. He preceded her in death June 28, 1961. On June 6, 1964, she married Frederick Bluck. He preceded her in death on February 12, 2016. She worked as a seamstress and was a member of All Saints Parish. Elaine enjoyed quilting and sewing.

Surviving are three children, Lynne (David) Precord, Mark (Dawn) Bluck, Lisa (Randy) Meyer; eight grandchildren, Megan Precord, Justin (Caitlin) Precord, Branden (Samantha) Precord, Evan (Jackie Pesch) Precord, Dylan Meyer, Matthew (fiance Morgan Aube) Bluck, Claire Meyer, Jonathan Bluck; six great-grandchildren, Brady, Myles, Max, Zoey, Rowan, Layn; sister, Shirley Yates; sister-in-law, Kathleen Yates, Linda Lang; several nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Bluck was preceded in death by three brothers, Mark, Joseph and James.

Visitation will take place on Tuesday at the Bannan Funeral Home from 2 – 8 p.m. with military honors by VFW Alpena Post at 5 p.m. and a parish prayer service at 7 p.m. Visitation will continue on Wednesday at St. Anne Church of All Saints Parish from 9 a.m. until the time of the Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. with the Rev. Michael Lingaur officiating.

Interment: Holy Cross Cemetery
