SHARON MICHELLE GEIB

Sharon was born March 23, 1953, in Detroit, Michigan to the late Charles “Chuck” and Stella “Pat” Telfer. On Nov. 11, 1976, she married her dearest friend and love of her life, Donald Geib. The two of them were blessed with a journey of 45 years together. Sharon had a kind and comforting spirit about her that always made others feel at ease. Her hospitality and desire to serve others was evident through her commitment and passion as an innkeeper at Churchill Pointe Inn of Hubbard Lake for nearly 30 years. Sharon also enjoyed spending Winters in her beloved Florida Keys, being on the beach, paddleboarding, gardening, cooking for others, and above all else cherished her time with family and friends. Her loving, nurturing, kind, and consoling presence will be deeply missed.

Sharon is survived by her husband Donald, three children, Matthew (Carrie) Geib, Andy (Ashley) Geib, and Angela (Bobby) Mize, four grandchildren, Eric (Jessica) Geib, Bode Geib, Kailer Geib, and Emersyn Geib, two great-grandchildren, Dominic and Addison, her sister, Nancy Nuttle, and her niece, Jennifer. She was preceded in death by both parents, and her son Donald Jr. “Donnie”.

Family will receive friends on Saturday, May 14, 2022, at McWilliams Funeral Home from 2 p.m. until the time of the memorial service at 3 p.m. with the Rev. Leslie Nye officiating.
