CAROLYN JOYCE NEVILLE

Carolyn Joyce Atkinson was born on Aug. 19, 1944, in Alpena to the late Angus and Lelia (Loomis) Atkinson. On Oct. 26, 1964, she married Rochford Neville. He preceded her in death on July 22, 2019. Carolyn was a member of Long Rapids First Congregational Church Women’s Fellowship.

Surviving are her four children, Faron (Robin) Neville, Ronn (Barb) Neville, Mary Delling, Claudia Neville; five grandchildren, Joshua Denny, Manda (Jeremy) Nicolai, Dakotah Neville, Joseph Delling, Eli Delling; numerous great-grandchildren; seven siblings, Margaret Smalley, Wesley Atkinson, Charles (Cindy) Atkinson, Shirley (Don) Kowalski, Dale (Linda) Atkinson, Sharron (John) Tinker, Harvey (Debra) Atkinson; special friend, Joe Mousseau; and several nieces and nephews.

Carolyn was preceded in death by her son, James Neville; two grandsons, Robert Allen, Faron Neville; and brother, Keith Atkinson.

Memorial visitation will take place Friday, May 27, 2022, at Bannan Funeral Home from 10 a.m. until the memorial service at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Arnie Kirschner officiating.
