MICHAEL DONALD JONES
Michael Donald Jones was called to heaven unexpectedly on March 14, 2021. Michael was born on May 11, 1966 to Donald E. and Gailyn J. (Fussey) Jones of Alpena, Michigan. Michael grew up in Alpena and graduated from Alpena High School and Auto Mechanic College. He worked at Louis Motor Sales in Alpena. Michael moved to Waterford, Michigan where he met and married his wife Thelda Estes, Michael later moved to Pontiac, Michigan where he worked as an auto mechanic, also building/restoring corvettes. He also worked repairing/building Harley Davidson Motorcycles. Michael built a Harley for the coach of the Detroit Lions football team. He enjoyed spending time riding his 1993 Harley Davidson and drag racing his 1979 Chevy Camaro. Michael had a heart of gold and would do anything, anytime, day or night for anyone needing help.
He was preceded in death by his wife Thelda and his great nephew, Paxton Theodore Urban. Michael is survived by his parents, Donald and Gailyn (Fussey) Jones of Alpena, his brother, Marty Jones of Alpena, his sister (and best friend) Jennifer (William) Westfall, his sister June Jones of Jackson, Michigan and his forever Mama Kitty (23 yrs old).
