ERNA A. MILLER

Erna Adeline Meyer was born July 16, 1933 in Ossineke, Michigan to the late Louis & Libby (Koptis) Meyer. On September 5, 1953 she was united in marriage to Charles D. Miller of Lachine, Michigan. He preceded her in death on April 20, 2011. Their marriage was blessed with three children: Charles Jr., Cynthia & Curtis. She retired from Alpena General Hospital and was an active member of St. Paul Lutheran Church – Hubbard Lake.

She is survived by her children; Chuck (Elaine) Miller, Cindy (Wayne) Lunderby, Curt (Kelly) Miller. Erna is also survived by her 6 grandchildren, Karissa McDonald, Nathan Lunderby, Katie (fiancé, Jason Romel) Miller, Megan (Adam) Hardies, Curtis (Ammie) Miller, Kayla (fiancé, Larry Williams) Miller; 6 great grandchildren, Blake, Dontae, Maci, Eli, Easton, Conner; 2 sisters-in-law, Arlene Meyer, Alys Meyer; many nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her brothers Arthur, Alfred and Richard and also by sister Louise Miller.

Visitation will take place at place on Tuesday at St. Paul Lutheran Church – Hubbard Lake from 11 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 2 p.m. with Rev. Joseph Llewellyn officiating. Funeral arrangements have been handled by the Bannan Funeral Home.

Interment: King Settlement Cemetery

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, Lutheran Hour Ministries, or McLaren Hospice
