HEATHER ANN HOOS

Heather was born in Bay City, Mich., to Kim LaFave Sr. and Peggy Gauthier on Aug. 31, 1975. Heather was a lifelong resident of Alpena County, where she was a former employee of Northeast Michigan Community Mental Health. She enjoyed her time there caring for others and spending time with friends and family.

Heather is survived by three children, Sonny Hunn of Detroit, Brook Hoos of Alpena, and Matthew Hoos of Alpena, her father, Kim (Tamara) LaFave Sr. of Black River, six brothers and sisters, Chad (Ann) Prittie, Kim LaFave Jr., Krystian (Michael) White, Mykayla Basner, Michael Basner, and August LaFave. She was preceded in death by her mother, Peggy.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Oct. 6, 2018 at the Black River Hall from 2 until 6 p.m. Cremation arrangements were made through Gillies Funeral Home, Lincoln.
