THOMAS JAMES OEHRING

Tom was born Nov. 17, 1977, in Allen Park, Mich., to Russell and Virginia Oehring. He married Kim White on July 20, 2013, in Alpena. Tom was a self-employed auto mechanic who enjoyed fixing things and trying to teach his kids how to fix things. He loved the outdoors especially when he could go for boat rides, camping or fishing. However, what he enjoyed most was spending time with his family.

Surviving are his wife Kim; three children, Dustin, Dylan, Shawn; his parents, Russell and Virginia Oehring of Alpena; three step-children, Siera Rowe, Ray Rowe, Sadie White; three grandchildren, Elleyanna, Declan, Mikayla; five siblings, Patti (Al) Nadeau of Ossineke, John (Jodie) O’Hare of Lincoln Park, Mich., Russell (Joann) Oehring Jr., of Waco, Texas, Rhonda (Scott) Harding of Austin, Texas, Terry (Elise) Oehring of Leander, Texas, and the mother of his children, Christina Headley of Alpena.

Thomas Oehring is at McWilliams Funeral Home – Alpena where friends may call on Monday from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. and on Tuesday, Oct. 10, 2017, at Ossineke United Methodist Church from 10 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 11 a.m. with Rev.
