PETER PETTALIA

Peter Pettalia left this world on his motorcycle Monday, Sept. 12, on a beautiful northern Pure Michigan day on his way to a job that he loved. He leaves behind a wife of 38 years (a friend of 41) a daughter Anna, son-in-kaw Brian, son Peter, brother and sisters Joe (Pam) Pettalia, Victoria Czarnicki, Roseann (Scott) Snead; many cousins, aunts, uncles, friends, granddaughter Mia who called him Papa and Isabelle who called him Boppa, sometimes rather loudly when he didn’t respond fast enough. Plans for a celebration of life are being made for Friday, Sept. 16, mid day at the New Presque Isle Lighthouse. Memorials can be sent to Presque Isle Township for the Lighthouse Restoration Fund.
