Friends of Plaza Pool Fundraising Chair, Judy Ewing, recently presented Mark Hunter with a certificate for Friends of Plaza Pool Volunteer of the Year at their annual general membership meeting held in the Trinity Episcopal Church Fellowship Room.

Hunter assisted second grade students with the Ready Set Swim program funded by the Alpena County Youth and Rec Millage at the Alpena Plaza Pool. In addition, he has provided multiple free community Wibit rentals for the Alpena community.
