Alcona High School’s cross country team competed in the Hale Invitational on Tuesday.

Cole Upper finished with a time of 19:24, placing sixth, while Darren Boyat finished with a time of 19:43, placing eighth. Both boys earned medals.

The next meet is the Northern Michigan Meet of Champions on Saturday in Cadillac.
