Alcona High School’s softball team played Posen on Monday, winning both games they played.

The first game ended 15-0 and the second was 21-6.

Some key players include Addison Beatty, who had an outstanding night batting both games and having a diving catch in right field, Rilee Tracy, who added to the offense with a great bat and a homerun, and Miah Schopfer, who held it down at the mound taking both wins.

“Overall, it was a great night on the field,” said Alcona’s coach Chelsea Neuenfeldt. “We had many players get into the game and it was truly a team effort.”
