Hillman baseball now 4-3-1

Hillman High School’s baseball team tied one and lost one to East Jordan on Friday.

In game one, the Tigers lost 7-3 and were unable to get on the board until the bottom of the fourth, already seven runs behind. Scoring two in the fourth and one in the fifth, Hillman couldn’t make the comeback and fell short. Game one also saw two errors from East Jordan and six errors from Hillman.

Game two started the same with East Jordan up in the first inning, but Hillman tied it up in the bottom of the second. In the sixth inning, both teams scored another two runs, ending the game 3-3. Errors during the second game saw improvement from the Tigers who had only three errors and East Jordan had five.

Hillman is now 4-3-1. We play Whittemore-Prescott on Monday at home.
