District Health Department No. 4 held a health board meeting on Tuesday at the Cheboygan office. Some of the things that were passed were two new positions with the Health Department, which include a new management IT supervisor position and a breastfeeding peer counselor position. Both unanimously passed. Other motions passed were environmental health policy revisions and the rerouting of funds toward data analysis for the Northern Michigan program MiThrive.
