The Alpena County Facilities, Capital & Strategic Planning and Personnel committees will meet Thursday and both meetings are open to the public.

The facilities meeting is scheduled to begin at 9 a.m. and the personnel meeting is slated to start at 10:30 a.m.

Both meetings will be held in the Howard Male Conference room in the county’s annex building.

During the facilities meeting, the commissioners will receive an update on a Phase 1 environmental study for the property of the former Alpena Boys and Girls Club. The county is considering allowing the club to sell the property.

During the personnel meeting, the commissioners are expected to provide an update on the search for a new county administrator.

Public comment is welcome at both meetings.
