As of Thursday, the Lafarge plant cement plant in Alpena has been rebranded as Holcim Alpena, a move made by Holcim US to unify brands across the country, a news release recently announced.

The Presque Isle quarry is included in the rebrand as well and officials say the new branding will include new signage.
