The east end of the rear parking area behind City Hall in Alpena will close all day on Friday for the annual Trunk-or-Treat event.

Vehicles must be removed from the lot Thursday evening so the city can place barricades for the event. Any vehicles left in this area may be towed at the owner’s expense. Vehicles must also be removed by noon on Friday from the west end of the parking lot to allow for volunteers to set up for the event. The parking lot will remain closed until after the Trunk-or-Treat concludes at approximately 8 p.m.
