Alpena Public Schools has announced a series of events to help students and parents prepare for the upcoming school year and become accustomed with the schools and staff. School in Alpena begins on Aug. 29.

∫ 6th Grade Chromebook Pick-Up August 22 at Thunder Bay Junior High from 12-6 p.m.

∫ Thunder Bay Junior High Open House – August 24 from 4-6 p.m.

∫ Elementary Open Houses – August 24 from 5-7 p.m.

∫ 9th Grade Orientation – August 24 1-3 p.m. at Alpena High School

∫ 6th Orientation – August 24 12:30-2:30 p.m. at Thunder Bay Junior High

∫ 9th Grade Parent Meeting – August 25 @ 6 p.m. at Alpena High School (virtual offered)

∫ 6th Grade Parent Meeting – August 23 @ 6 p.m. at Thunder Bay Junior High (virtual offered)
