May 31
9:17 a.m.: A Montmorency County Deputy assisted Otsego County Trooper with traffic control; with a vehicle that was blocking Meridian Line Rd.
1:11 p.m.: An open debris fire was reported and the DNR went to the scene to investigate. The DNR advised the subject to put the fire out.
2:04 p.m.: Deputies responded to Pleasant Valley Rd for an erratic driver, the subject was stopped on Pine Oaks Rd. After sobriety tests, a 35 year old female from Hillman was taken into custody for DUID.
3 p.m.: A DNR officer responded to a complaint of someone dropping trash off on the side of the road on Brush creek Truck Trail.
7:36 p.m.: The Montmorency County Road Commission was contacted for a tree blocking Harwood Rd.
June 2
4:05 p.m.: Officers responded to a complaint of a cow being malnourished and the hooves are very long making it difficult to walk.
June 3
10 a.m.: A male was sentenced to serve 180 days for a OWI, he was transported to Alpena Jail.
10:01 a.m.: A welfare check on a Briley Township resident was requested by a friend; the subject was found to be fine.
2:15 p.m.: A tree across Voyer Lake Rd was reported, the Road Commission was notified.
3:19 p.m.: A subject was picked up in Iosco County on a Montmorency County warrant, officers went to pick him up and he was lodged in Alpena County Jail.
5:56 p.m.: A tree across Avalon Dr. in Hillman Township was reported, the Road Commission was notified.
June 4
8:58 a.m.: A report of horses loose was called into dispatch, a deputy responded to the scene; the owner of the horses was issued a citation.
9:04 a.m.: A vehicle was parked in a closed business in Albert Township; the subject was advised he couldn’t park there.
2:19 p.m.: A report of an unattended campfire on state land was reported, DNR officers went to the scene.
June 5
2:45 a.m.: Deputies responded to a commercial burglar alarm on Co Rd 612, the building was found to be secure.
11:03 a.m.: A report of a voluntarily missing adult was reported, deputies investigated and the subject contacted friends later in the day, she was fine.
5:58 p.m.: An attempted breaking and entering was reported to the department, deputies responded to the scene and this is still under investigation.
