Authorities respond to 3-vehicle crash near Alpena hospital
ALPENA — The Alpena Police Department and the Alpena Fire Department responded to another crash on Chisholm Street around 1 p.m. Thursday in front of MidMichigan Medical Center-Alpena.
A total of three vehicles — a truck, a car, and an SUV — were involved in the crash, which happened when one of the vehicles crashed into a second vehicle which crashed into a third vehicle.
Patrol Officer Linnessa Mellberg said no one was transported to the hospital, although some of those involved in the crash were checked out.
Jerome’s Towing removed a truck from the scene of the crash while Prell’s Towing Service removed a car from the scene of the crash. Occupants of a third vehicle — the SUV — were able to drive away in their vehicle.
The Alpena County Sheriff’s Department also responded to the crash.
