May 11th

5:44 a.m.: Dispatch received multiple calls of a dead elk on M-32 just east of County Rd 491. The DNR was contacted and a deputy assisted to remove the elk from the road.

7:38 p.m.: Hillman Fire Department responded to a small wildland fire caused by a down powerline in Rust Township.

May 12

1:26 p.m.: An officer spoke with a Briley Township resident in reference to a civil dispute.

1:37 p.m.: While on routine patrol deputies initiated a routine traffic stop in Albert Township; the driver was found to be driving on a revoked license. He was given a citation and his vehicle was towed from the scene.

3:20 p.m.: A 911 call came into the center; the male subject stated his brother was in an ATV accident and was experiencing a medical issue. Law enforcement along with Tri Township EMS responded to the scene. The subjects had both left the scene prior to law enforcement arriving on scene.

9:37 p.m.: Dispatch received a call about a dispute in Hillman Village; Deputies responded. All parties were separated and officers cleared without incident.

May 13

2:28 p.m.: A 911 call came in to the center referencing a family dispute, deputies responded to the scene. The deputies spoke with the subjects involved and settled the issue.

7:13 p.m.: A welfare check requested on a Hillman township resident; a Deputy responded and the female subject was found to be fine.

7:13 p.m.: A Deputy responded to a trespassing complaint in Briley Township; subjects were located. Subjects advised they were trespassing and to not enter onto that property again, officer cleared without incident.

May 15

6:47p.m.: Hillman Township residents reported hearing loud explosion Pleasant Valley Rd near Bertha Lane. MCSD Deputy found that it was fireworks.

7:36 p.m.: A Hillman Township resident reported suspicious activity in their cabin on Red Pine Circle Court West per their home surveillance system. MCSD Deputies responded to the cabin. Upon arrival found two individuals at the cabin. Owner arrived and discovered that it was family members that came up for the weekend. Deputies cleared without incident.

8:03 p.m.: Deputies were dispatched to a stray dog on Pine Oaks Rd in Hillman Township. Upon arrival deputies found dog in poor health. Dog was taken to ECAS for further care.

9:59 p.m.: A report of car/deer accident on M 32 east of M33 junction. Damage to vehicle was reported and no one was injured. MCSD Deputy responded and cleared without incident.

May 16

12:39 a.m.: A 911 call reporting a car on fire on Mary Ann St. Albert Township Fire/EMS and MCSD Deputies responded to the scene. Fire was extinguished and no injuries were reported.

3:59 a.m.: A 911 call reporting a Montmorency Township cabin owner arriving at their cabin and they thought there was someone in the 5th wheel on the property. MCSD Deputies responded, gained access to the camper and found no one in the camper. Deputies cleared without incident.

6:57 p.m.: An Albert Township resident called reporting their neighbor was outside drunk and harassing them. MCSD Deputies responded to the home and subject was advised to stay in their apartment.

7:50 p.m.: Subject in the MCSD lobby turned himself in on an open warrant. Deputies arrested subject and the subject was lodged in the county jail.

10:46 p.m.: A car/deer accident was reported on M32 near Haas Rd. Damage to vehicle was reported and no personal injuries.

11 p.m.: An Albert Township resident called 911 to report someone just broke out his window in his apartment at the Oak Leaf Manor Apt in Lewiston. MSCD Deputies responded to the scene. This is an ongoing investigation.
