4 more Northeast Michiganders infected

ALPENA — Four more Northeast Michiganders have been infected with COVID-19, District Health Departments No. 2 and No. 4 announced today.
Infected are a Presque Isle County resident, bringing the total number of infected residents of that county to 25, a pair Alcona County residents, pushing to 40 the total number of Alcona County residents infected since the start of the pandemic in March, and one new Montmorency County resident, pushing the number of infected Montmorency County residents to 16..
Still 127 Alpena County residents have been infected, of whom 106 have recovered.
Twenty-two Presque Isle County residents, 12 Montmorency County residents, and 29 Alcona County residents have recovered.
To date, 14 Alpena County residents have died after being infected with the disease, as has one Presque Isle County resident and two Alcona County residents.
Statewide, 1,407 new infections from Saturday to today and 15 deaths in that time were announced. Since March, 128,923 Michiganders have been infected, 6,816 of whom have died.
